CIRS Attended the 24th COSMED Regulatory Congress

On March 27-28, 2024, CIRS Group was invited to attend the 24th COSMED Regulatory Congress in Paris. The attendees included members from the European Commission, DGCCRF, Health Canada, Business France, and other government bodies, as well as experts from the cosmetic associations.

During the two-day conference, participants engaged in discussions on key topics regarding EU cosmetics regulations, with a particular focus on issues such as nanomaterials in cosmetics, microplastics, digitalization, and green sustainable development. Additionally, the conference centered on the latest developments in global cosmetics regulations, with discussions on the US MoCRA regulations, Chinese cosmetics regulations, Canadian cosmetics regulations, and UK cosmetics regulations.

Ms. April, Guo, General Manager of the CIRS Personal and Home Care Division, shared insights on fragrance allergens and ingredient safety information. She engaged in discussions about the latest cosmetic ingredient regulations and regulatory requirements and, drawing on her in-depth research into international regulations, provided participants with actionable compliance strategies.
