2025 ASEAN Pesticide Registration Webinar Series (April to June 2025)

The ASEAN pesticide market is a growing market due to its rising economy and population, wide range of applications and decreasing land for farming. On the other hand, most of ASEAN countries accept GLP study reports issued by overseas laboratories, with lower registration data requirements and costs compared to Europe and America, as well as shorter review periods, allowing pesticide companies to enter this market more quickly, particularly new active ingredients and biopesticides.

However, regulatory policies and registration procedures for pesticides vary among Southeast Asian countries, presenting both opportunities and challenges for pesticide companies looking to enter this market.

From April to June 2025, CIRS Group will present a series of free webinars on pesticide registrations in ASEAN in English. These webinars will provide you with an overview of the latest pesticide regulatory environment in ASEAN and dive into detailed pesticide registration requirements and process in major countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia.

Cristina Liu, Principal Consultant, CIRS Group

Based in Singapore, Cristina Liu is the principal consultant of CIRS Group’s pesticide regulatory affairs department. She has more than 21 years' experience of pesticide regulatory affairs for the APAC region. Prior to joining CIRS, she has served as the Regulatory Affairs Manager for FMC in the Asia-Pacific region for 12 years, managed FMC's diversified product portfolio and registration processes in the Asia-Pacific, and led a high-performance registration and regulatory team. She has solid practical experience in compliance and registration strategy, especially in the registration of new active ingredients and various types of pesticides in Southeast Asia.
