European Chemicals Agency released a public consultation concerning the harmonized classification and labeling of 2 substances. Comments on general issues, for example on substance identification, physicochemical properties and data sources or on any unclarities in the text of the CLH dossier can be submitted. Comments on hazard classes of the substance can also be given, yet they must relate to hazard classes that are open for commenting during the public consultation in question, such as classification itself, the information considered in the proposal, the justification of the conclusions, or comments supporting the proposed classification.
Detailed information the substances are as follows:
Name | EC No. | CAS No. | Hazard Classes Opening for Commenting | Deadline for Commenting |
3-methylpyrazole | 215-925-7 | 1453-58-3 | Acute toxicity (oral, inhalation) Skin corrosion/irritation Serious eye damage/eye irritation Reproductive toxicity Specific target organ toxicity — repeated exposure | 3 May 2019 |
silanamine, 1,1,1-trimethyl-N-(trimethylsilyl)-, hydrolysis products with silica; pyrogenic, synthetic amorphous, nano, surface treated silicon dioxide | 272-697-1 | 68909-20-6 | Explosive Flammable solid Self-reactive substance or mixture Pyrophoric solid Self-heating substance or mixture Substance or mixture which in contact with water emits flammable gas Oxidising solid Substance or mixture corrosive to metals Acute toxicity Skin corrosion/irritation Serious eye damage/eye irritation Skin sensitization Germ cell mutagenicity Carcinogenicity Reproductive toxicity Specific target organ toxicity — repeated exposure Hazardous to the aquatic environment | 3 May 2019 |
