- When applying for registration and filing of cosmetics, safety information related to raw materials with the function of preservative, sunscreen, colorant, hair dyes, anti-freckle and whitening should be provided.

Measures for the Administration of Cosmetics Labels Come into Force
- The entity responsibility of cosmetics registrants and filers and the principle requirements of the content and form of cosmetics labels are clarified
- Including the required labelling contents and the detailed requirements, and the forbidden contents on the label.
- These Measures shall apply to the labels of cosmetics provided to consumers in the form of free trial, gift or exchange.
- The main labelling requirements are indicated hereinafter: cosmetics should have Chinese labels. The contents of product safety and efficacy claims on the Chinese labels shall be consistent with the original labels in the case of Chinese sticker. For products with packing boxes, the Chinese name and shelf life of the products shall also be marked on the packing containers that have direct contact with the contents. All components not exceeding 0.1% (W/W) shall be labeled separately with ‘Other trace components’ as the lead. It is prohibited to use medical terms, names of medical celebrities or names of drugs that express or imply that the products have medical effects.
Labelling requirements of the Regulations on Supervision and Administration of Children's Cosmetics
- When applying for registration and filing of children's cosmetics, labels shall be marked as required.
