According to the requirements of the Provisions on the Management of Cosmetic Registration and Filing Data as well as the Measures for the Administration of Cosmetic Registration and Filing, starting from January 1 2022, ordinary cosmetics that are filed via the old or the new registration/ filing platform should be reported annually. Filers need to submit the annual report of ordinary cosmetics of the previous year via the new registration/filing platform between January 1 and March 31 each year once their products have been filed for more than one year.
Annual Report should include:
- Products production or import situations and whether the products have been suspended for production; and
- Self-check on whether the products have complied with relevant laws and regulations, national standards, as well as technical specifications.
*Related enterprises should be responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of the information in the annual report.
The regulatory authorities will clean up the products that have not been reported within the time limit. Products that have been cancelled from the filing should not be marketed or imported since the date of cancellation, otherwise the regulatory authorities will impose penalties according to law.
