The Cosmetics Supervision and Administration Regulation (CSAR) will come into force on 1 Jan. 2021. The implementation of this regulation means the arrival of cosmetics 2.0 in China. After the regulation comes into effect, companies both at home and abroad shall comply with the production, labeling and/ or techniques requirements of this regulation if they intend to enter or continue production in China.
