From March 26 to 27, 2025, CIRS Group was honored to participate in the 25th Regulatory Congress hosted by COSMED, the French Association for SMEs in the Cosmetics Industry, in Paris. The event brought together representatives from key government bodies including the European Commission, the Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control (DGCCRF), and Business France, as well as numerous experts from across the cosmetics industry.
During the two-day congress, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics such as global market access for cosmetics, regulatory compliance, ingredient safety, environmental regulations and sustainability, and global labeling management. The event placed particular emphasis on the latest developments in global cosmetic regulations, covering major markets including the EU, China, the United States, and South Korea. It provided valuable insights and strategic guidance for companies seeking to strengthen their global compliance frameworks.
On March 27, Ms. April Guo, General Manager of CIRS Group’s Personal and Home Care Division, delivered a presentation during the international regulatory session titled “Cosmetic Safety Assessment and GMP Regulatory Trends in China.” Drawing upon the latest regulatory updates and practical experience, Ms. Guo shared actionable compliance strategies to help companies navigate the evolving regulatory landscape in the Chinese cosmetics market.
