Unsafe food refers to the food that is forbidden to be produced and distributed by food safety law and other regulations, or proved to be harmful to human health. On 1 September 2015, the Administrative Measure of Food Recall in China has come into force. This measure specifies the production stop, recall and disposal regulations for unsafe food in China. Food manufacturers and distributers should take the first responsibility for food safety. And FDA departments are in charge of the supervision in food recall.
